By installing or using Bebenames ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Bebenames helps two people who are expecting a child pick a name together by swiping through candidate names independently and revealing the names you both liked.
You can use the app anonymously (tied to your device) or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method. If you lose access to your provider account and never signed in, your anon account is tied to your device's keychain and cannot be recovered from another device.
You agree not to: (a) attempt to access another user's account or pairing without their consent, (b) use automated tools to scrape or stress the service, (c) reverse-engineer the app or its API beyond what's permitted by applicable law, or (d) use the app for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
The baby names, traits, and descriptions in the app are provided for inspiration only and are not professional advice (medical, legal, naming, cultural, or otherwise). We do not warrant that any name is suitable for your context.
We provide the app "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the app is limited to direct damages and capped at the amount you paid us for the service (which, for the free version, is zero). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
